The new ULTIMATE AUDIO UA-SUB-410-BRS and UA-SUB-13-BRS are passive bandpass subwoofers for installation in suspended ceilings, walls and especially furniture. The complex housing construction enables both very high efficiency and a very low resonance frequency – with very compact dimensions. The total height is just 116 or 200 mm! There is a connection made of flexible hose between the housing and the respective mounting adapter, which is why this type of bandpass subwoofer is also called a “pipe subwoofer”.
At the end of the “pipe” is a 3D printed mounting flange, which is attached to the respective surface (plaster ceiling, brick wall, furniture installation, etc.) using an installation adapter. The clean finish is formed by a very fine-meshed grid, which is magnetically mounted into the installation adapter. The grilles are available in all RAL colors. This installation principle results in a frameless, clean and flush overall appearance.
